Here’s new functionality across the Infinity platform that will help you and your team reduce operational complexity and create a differentiated omnichannel customer experience.

Dispatch partial sales order lines
Sales order lines can now be partially dispatched. When a partial dispatch is processed, a new line is created against the original to track the remaining quantity. This removes the all-or-nothing constraint on dispatch and gives integrators finer control over fulfilment where goods arrive or ship in batches. It’s great for 3PL and warehouse integrations where physical stock movements don’t always match the full order line.
Capture updated sale order information as notes
You can now add notes to existing sales orders, either at the header level or against a specific order line, so you can capture status updates, picking instructions or carrier reference numbers without having to modify the order itself.
Get real-time updates for a broad range of stock movements
The Infinity Cloud Events Service now supports a broader range of inventory functions, including stock adjustments, stock transfers and transfer requests, returns to supplier and stock takes, allowing you to connect even more stock information to ecosystem partners in real-time.
Resend sales invoice events in bulk
If you use the Infinity Cloud Events Service to send sales invoices to third parties, you’ll find you can now send missed events in bulk, helping you save time and ensuring that all invoices are taken care of simultaneously.

Automatically pro-rata freight costs on invoice receipts
If you’re looking for a way to distribute freight costs across items of different value more fairly, then look out for the Per Line Total Cost option when receipting invoices.
This option splits the total freight cost across all products on a pro-rata basis, meaning that high-value items absorb a larger share of the cost than lower-value items and giving you more accurate landed cost calculations on receipts where line values vary significantly. And because it apportions costs automatically, it saves the time your team used to spend trying to achieve a value-based cost allocation.
Get a clear view of child and parent item counts during stock takes
As a store owner, it can be difficult and time-consuming during stock takes to figure out how much a child item contributes to its parent’s overall stock count. We’ve taken care of this issue by giving you visibility of both the scanned count for the child item and the consolidated parent-level count, including converted child contributions, saving you time and giving you a clearer view of overall stock on hand.
Enjoy better oversight of stock transfer requests
If your business regularly transfers stock between stores to fulfil customer orders, you can find yourself struggling to get on top of transfer requests, especially if some of them are out of date and can be ignored. You can now manage and process these requests more efficiently by cancelling the ones you no longer need.
And to help you deliver a first-class customer experience, we’ve introduced the ability to lock down requests linked to customer orders so they can’t be changed, allowing you to protect order integrity and ensuring you can meet customers’ expectations on time.
PRODUCT INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
Activate or deactivate locked items in bulk for a single branch
If your business maintains its inventory centrally at the Head Office and you lock items so they can’t be activated or deactivated at the store, you can now override the lock status and activate or deactivate locked items in bulk during Infinity ETL imports for a single branch. This is useful when you’re opening a new store and you need to deactivate a lot of items at once.

Reduce business risk during Back Office rebuilds
Missing steps during a manual Back Office and Point of Sale rebuild can lead to corrupted transactional data and a costly, complex recovery effort. To reduce the risk to your business, we’ve enhanced the RB1.exe tool that ships with Infinity so that it can automatically reset markers for the transaction, stock movement and cash management header tables, as well as for the fuel reconciliation table.
Using the tool during rebuilds reduces manual configuration; minimises errors; improves consistency across POS, BOS and HOS environments; and enables faster, more reliable Back Office and Point of Sale restoration.
